The System Rescue CD, for your rescue…

I was stumbling upon for some time and found this very interesting thing. You might have had a lot of problems with your PC (assuming that you are a power user and use windows :-) ). I have had many. Back then I used to turn to good old Knoppix when such problems were faced. But now, I have found just the thing. There actually exists an OS whose sole purpose is system rescue.

The 0.4.1 version of the CD contains :-

  1. Linux Kernel 2.6.22.
  2. Partition Tools.
  3. Networking Tools.
  4. Editors.
  5. Security Tools.
  6. CD DVD Burning Tools.
  7. Web Browsers.
  8. Boot Floppy Images.
