Bachana E Haseeno…

Well… My second release day show in this month. I think I am (we are) becoming too much of a movie addict… None the less, me and some of my friends went to the movie, even after many warnings of not watching it. People said that the ToI was paid to give the movie 4/5 stars. :) Anyways, as there were no other significant good movies, we were resorted to this movie and thinking (as usual with us nowadays) that it will certainly be better than No Smoking, we decided to go for the dare to face the truth.

So, there were we, only about 25 people at the theater and we were having second thoughts about skipping the movie and maybe go and watch Phoonk. Then it hit us… Darna Mana Hai, Darna Jaroori Hai… Ram Gopal Varma and horror movies => disaster… I mean, that guy obviously thinks that he is making good movies, but someone should tell him that he is not. Just like someone should tell Himesh Reshamiya that he cannot sing.

So, we went in, dreading the worst possible movie. Guess what, i actually liked the movie. Except the usual mistakes that are there in Bollywood movies. You know, like everyone has an international license for driving vehicles and stuff. But leave that out and the movie is actually good.

About the songs, I only liked one song. The rest were bad (according to me, I am not forcing you to hate them as well). And towards the end, the frequency of the songs increases faster than birth rate in India. :-| anyways, the songs are good for the situation in the movie, but I did not like them much.

Now the story, it is about 3 ladies and a man. A man who does not believe in marriage and stuff. So, the movie is about those 3 girls and his affairs with them. :-o . The scenery and overall cinematography is brilliant, the locations are awesome. The women are awesome ;) Well thats about it for a ’spoiler free’ review. All I can say now is the movie is realistic and hence is good. That’s about it. Go and watch it, you will not regret it.

Yeah poor me… Ever since the release of the Dark Knight, whenever I enter the theater, I wish I had seen TDK in theaters… :( Now I wish to watch it at least once on a HUGE plasma screen television at least…

NO TDK in theaters? Ahh same here! Damn This Town!

IMO this was not your BEST review… (You have written better reviews earlier).

About movie.. I liked the Bipasha part best. Actually meaningful it was (am I talking yoda style?)
You forgot to mention which song you liked? Let me guess? “Khuda Jaane”… Its mine favorite. :D

sorry i will have to disagree here.saw the movie last nite (and luckily not in a theatre). Its one of the crappiest movies i have seen. The story is crap, the hero is worse, that punjabi song is disgusting (but yes heroines are good). another pure hokum from yash raj. aditya chopra should think about other careers, hair saloon ,maybe! (well u can always say that my taste in films has deteriorated)

It’s typically not my kind of a movie..but since you so recommend it, might give it a try! :-)
