openSUSE RC 1 delayed, Beta 5 released…
Due to the power outage at the place where the major openSUSE servers are held, the development of SUSE got delayed considerably. Furthur, there were some blocker bugs (bugs that are major ones and must be solved before major release), the RC 1, which was scheduled to release today, has been delayed till 27th of November. A 5th Beta version was instead released today.
Public relesase is scheduled on 18th of December and the things are looking tough. There is still a lot to do and not much time. The openSUSE team calls all Linux enthusiasts to come forward for testing this beta. See openSUSE.org/Testing for more information on testing.

I am just waiting for 11.1 now. The best part is, my exams end in the 1st week of December every year (earlier this year). So, I get to fully enjoy, test and review every release of SUSE (the 11.0 was released in summer vacations
