Australianism: Single-minded determination to win – to win within the laws but, if necessary, to the last limit within them. It means where the ‘impossible‘ is within the realm of what the human body can do, there are Australians who believe that they can do it – and who have succeeded often enough to make us wonder if anything is impossible to them. It means they have never lost a match – particularly a Test match – until the last run is scored or their last wicket down.
Take a bow Michael Hussey and Cameron White. Australians prevail again in an outstanding match – one of the best matches I have seen in this format of the game. Plus it included a win for my all time favorite team and a loss for Pakistan. I am head over heels today.

My practical exams are finally over and I have vamoosed into what people call a preparatory leave. People are supposed to prepare for exams during this time – hence the name. I am not doing anything even remotely close to it at this time. What I am doing is, watching a lot of movies and serials. I started with Californication, I then tried catching up with True Blood. I also watched Push, Blind Side, the International and the Condemned. I thought Condemned deserves to go first, mainly because I want to get back into the rhythm and this movie can be reviewed without the rhythm – it simply sucks.
The Condemned is a movie about savages. Some crackpot jackass millionaire (maybe multi) thinks it’s cool and justice to drop 10 criminals on death sentence on a deserted island, unknown to all the governments and intelligence agencies, and make them compete for 30 hours against each other in a match till death where the sole survivor gets to live, beating the death sentence.
