Yeah yeah… people think I say such things and then monitor how my readers respond to it, like I don’t have other ‘better’ (notice the word better there?) things to do… Exam time… will be back after 28th Nov.

CDK and the Modem Reboot…

November 7th, 2008 / No Comments » / by Aditya

Lack of time has forced me to cease the flow of articles on this blog. So, I am writing this one to keep you busy with some other stuff. Read the latest from CDK on Passing Thoughts. It is a python script which reboots the router at a predefined time.

Can be used by the desperate people who do not wish to wake up at 2 am in the night and are BSNL users. (Those 2 reasons are enough to go and take a look). It can be ‘cronned’ too.

Fuck HP… Again…

November 3rd, 2008 / 4 Comments » / by Aditya

Not even about a month ago, I had gone hot against HP… Here I am, again. I got the laptop back after it spent 15 days in the service station. It ran smooth for about 10 days and then the HDD went kaput. NOW, it has been about 10-12 days and the service station people still say that they will need 10 more days to get things done for this time (not right mind you.. the shitheads there are not good enough to get through this).

I mean, for one, they are people full of crap who cannot find out what is wrong with the piece. Second, they are not replacing the piece (obviously it has MANY SERIOUS problems) and third is, even after knowing that the piece has MANY SERIOUS problems, they won’t replace the broken things immidiately. I have never seen a worse company. HP truly and really sucks.

I think the dignam theory of feds applies to these people. They are like mashrooms. They live in the dark and feed on shit… only irony is, they never grow out of it.
