Random Posts
A few weeks ago, my friend Santhosh posted a nice little tutorial on noob2geek on how to display random posts on your wordpress blog. I was thinking about implementing it on this blog for a long time, finally I got some free time and I have implemented the feature here on this blog.
I have made a few changes to the code given on that post on noob2geek. I wanted to display random posts at the bottom of every individual post. The method on n2g does 2 things, 1 is that it displays even the current post in the random posts. Secondly, it does not work well in-line to a post as we don’t store the $post variable anywhere. Thank You For Smoking
WOW! That’s the only thing I kept saying about this movie right till the end. Don’t worry now, I am not going to advice people about smoking. Neither will the movie, mind you. Thank You For Smoking is a movie about a smart-ass spokesperson of Big Tobacco, Nick Naylor, starring Aaron Eckhart in a brilliant and strong performance. He has to do it by talking his way out of tight corners, making big promises and bunch of other things, which I am sure you will love to watch. Heck he even tries to rebel kids for smoking (no… not literally), makes a cancer kid his friend and announces a $50mn research campaign without consulting with his boss. Still they all love him.

Karthik Calling Karthik
I am and have always been a lover of weird movies. Movies which make you stress your mind and actually require you to think what is going on and what might be the end. Reading the title of this movie, it seemed that Karthik Calling Karthik might be one of the rare bollywood movies to land themselves in that weird yet good movies. I decided to check it out for myself.
The movie starts off with a bang. I was actually intrigued at the beginning and was eager to know what would come next. Karthik, a troubled young mag, working in a construction company does not exist. Figuratively I mean. No one knows him, no one bothers him, he is shy and total chicken. Then… Karthk starts receiving calls from Karthik. The concept itself is amusing. Is there a souble role? Is Karthik suffering from multiple personality disorder? Does he have an evil twin somewhere? Did Karthik lock the twin up?
