The Condemned

My practical exams are finally over and I have vamoosed into what people call a preparatory leave. People are supposed to prepare for exams during this time – hence the name. I am not doing anything even remotely close to it at this time. What I am doing is, watching a lot of movies and serials. I started with Californication, I then tried catching up with True Blood. I also watched Push, Blind Side, the International and the Condemned. I thought Condemned deserves to go first, mainly because I want to get back into the rhythm and this movie can be reviewed without the rhythm – it simply sucks.

The Condemned is a movie about savages. Thunderstorm

Wow… My weariness, my anger, my frustration… It’s all disappearing right now at this very minute. It will come back if there is no rain. But the lightning, the atmosphere, the drop in temperature, the smell of wet grounds. It’s feeling great.

The lightning is romantic, energetic and it feels soothing at the same time (It was 43 degree Celsius in the afternoon). I just put on some music. Kenny G… Signing off in anticipation of rain…

Update1.0: It IS raining. Too bad I can’t go running on the road singin’ in the rain. It’s 3am and people are sleeping. Not that I care. Anyway, I am off. [Read more →]

Coffee

This is what happens when you have too much time on your hands. I was so bored by (not) studying for a LONG time, that I actually found the old coffee percolator, the ground coffee and brewed a cup for me at 0222 hours, that too with a slight touch of cinnamon.

I actually was not sure whether I should put cinnamon in the coffee. Turns out, I am not a very big fan of cinnamon. It’s tasting okayish but not for me… I must get a coffee grinder and a coffee brewer soon. Reason? Cause I have nothing better to do. That and I love coffee of course.

Next, I am going to try making one of those ice blended coffees. One thing is pretty clear though, no matter how much I mess that up, it will taste good to me in this hell of a summer. 44 degrees!!! It’s too much to handle really. [Read more →]
